What are Boiler Water Oxygen Scavenger chemicals?
Boiler Water Oxygen Scavenger chemicals are additional products used to remove dissolved oxygen from boiler feed water.  There are two groups sulfite and organic based. Please contact us for pricing.  Manufactured to order in 5 to 275 gallon containers.

Sulfite Based Products
OS1137
Oxygen Scavenger 1137 is a powdered sodium sulfite which, when added to boiler feedwater, removes dissolved oxygen. By acting as an oxygen scavenger, OS1137 is used to control corrosion and pitting caused by the presence of dissolved oxygen.

OS1337
OS1337 highly concentrated acidic sulfite solution which, when added to boiler feedwater, removes dissolved oxygen. By acting as an oxygen scavenger, OS1337 is used to control corrosion and pitting caused by the presence of dissolved oxygen.

OS1437
Oxygen Scavenger 1437 highly concentrated alkaline sulfite solution which, when added to boiler feedwater, removes dissolved oxygen. OS1437 contains a catalyst that increases the rate of reaction with dissolved oxygen.  By acting as an oxygen scavenger, OS1437 is used to control corrosion and pitting caused by the presence of dissolved oxygen.

OS1537LF
OS1537LF is a neutral pH sulfite solution which, when added to boiler feedwater, removes dissolved oxygen. OS1537LF contains a catalyst that increases the rate of reaction with dissolved oxygen.  By acting as an oxygen scavenger, OS1537LF is used to control corrosion and pitting caused by the presence of dissolved oxygen.

OS1937L
Oxygen Scavenger 1937L is a highly concentrated acidic sulfite solution which, when added to boiler feedwater, removes dissolved oxygen. OS1937L contains a catalyst that increases the rate of reaction with dissolved oxygen.  By acting as an oxygen scavenger, OS1937L is used to control corrosion and pitting caused by the presence of dissolved oxygen.

OS1937P
OS1937 is a catalyzed concentrated powdered sulfite (acidic) which, when added to boiler feedwater, removes dissolved oxygen. By acting as an oxygen scavenger, OS1937LP is used to control corrosion and pitting caused by the presence of dissolved oxygen.

Organic Based Products
OS1257
OS1257 contains DEHA which, when added to boiler feedwater, removes dissolved oxygen and passivates condensate lines. By acting as an oxygen scavenger, OS1257 is used to control corrosion and pitting caused by the presence of dissolved oxygen in the feedwater, boiler, and condensate system.  DEHA volatilizes from the boiler water into the steam so that, as a condensate component, it reacts to passivate metal surfaces, removing the potential for corrosion.
