What types of Corrosion Inhibited Propylene Glycols are there? We have three groupings of Corrosion Inhibited Propylene Glycol, premixed, inhibited glycol, and usp inhibted glycol.
What dilutions does propylene glycol come in? Corrosion Inhibited Propylene Glycol is a heat transfer fluid that is 95% solution of glycol designed for use in hydronic systems. The inhibitor is blended in at 3.6%, which means you can dilute the glycol down to 20% solution with water and still have good corrosion protection. The inhibitor system is designed to protect metals commonly found in mechanical systems such as brass, copper, solder, steel, and cast iron.
