Sodium Hypochlorite - 5 to 55 Gallon Containers

DESCRIPTION AND USE
BioGuard 156 is a solution of sodium hypochlorite (Minimum 12.5% as NaOCl) for use in the treatment of various water systems. It is used for controlling organics which can contaminate systems and as an oxidizer for iron prior to filtration. It can be used for the treatment of potable water as long as EPA guidelines with respect to the maximum amount of chlorine are met.

Cooling Water Inhibitor and Scale Prevention - 5 to 55 Gallons

Cooling Tower Chemical 1334 is designed as an all organic treatment for open, recirculating cooling water systems. The product is formulated with a combination of organic phosphonates, polymeric dispersants and an azole corrosion inhibitor specifically for systems which are operated with moderate hardness and alkalinity makeup waters. Optimum product performance is expected when the treated systems are operated in a Langelier Saturation range of +1.0 to +2.0.

45% Glutaraldehyde - 5 to 55 Gallon Containers

DESCRIPTION AND USE
Gluteraldehyde comes in a 45% solution and is considered a highly concentrated microbiocide for use in recirculating cooling water and air washer systems. The product is effective over a wide pH range against slime forming bacteria, sulfate reducing bacteria and fungi. The product functions to kill these microorganisms by reacting with the cell wall. Thus, it possesses many unique features when compared to other materials:
- Very effective over a broad spectrum of organisms.
- Aqueous solution which is relatively safe to handle and is easily diluted and mixed when treating.
- Unlike most non oxidizing biocides, it will function to clean up a biologically fouled system.
- Functions over wide pH and temperature ranges and will not react with the wide range of inhibitors and anionic dispersants used in modern cooling water treatment.
- It is non surface active and therefore will not foam when used.
CHEMICAL FEEDING AND CONTROL
When a system is noticeably fouled, BioGuard 46 should be slug dosed to establish a concentration of 50 to 100ppm actives in the recirculating water (i.e. 4.6 9.2 fl. ozs/100 gals. contained water). Once control is evident, a dosage of 20 to 50ppm (1.8 4.6 fl. ozs/100 gals.) on a weekly basis will normally maintain control unless unusual conditions develop.

Stablized Liquid Chlorine/ Bromide - 5 to 55 Gallon Containers

Stabilized Chlorine/Bromide is used for the treatment of open, recirculating cooling towers, evaporative condensers, air washers, decorative fountains, certain ponds and other water systems. The product is supplied as a low viscosity, easily pumped liquid. When added to water, the product forms stabilized hypobromous and hypochlorous (HOBr and HOCl) acids. However, unlike chlorine, the stabilized bromine/chlorine maintains full activity at the wide pH range generally encountered in cooling water systems
