What Neptune feeder will this kit work in?
This filter bag kit can be used in Neptune VTF-2HP and Neptune DBF-2HP units. This is ONLY the kit!

What are Neptune Bypass filter kits used?
Neptune filter bag kits are used to clean up contaminated closed water systems. They are used in all "VTF and "DBF models up to 10 gallons. These bags can not be used in Neptune "DBFC" models. For more information download the product bulletin.

How do install a filter bag kit?
Very easy, these just drop into the top of the feeder and tighten.

How do you clean Neptune filter bags?
First valve off then unit and make sure the pressure has been released. Remove the top of the feeder. Remove the bag kit and bag. Flush the bag with with hot water. High pressure water will help remove smaller particles.

How often should I replace my Neptune filter bags?
These bags can be used over many times. You need to replace them if they are torn or if you have no means of removing the fine particles.

How do I know when I should clean the bag filter?
You should install pressure gauges on both sides of the by pass feeder and monitor the differential pressures.

What size are these filter?
Roughly 30 micron when clean.

How many replacement bags come per packet?
The filter bags are sold in quantities of 6.

3. If you have a Fedex Account number, enter it in the notes section during ordering with your exact shipping requirements (Next Day 8:30, Next Day 10:30, Next Day 20:00, Fedex 2 AM, or Fedex Express Saver). You are done. We will email you ASAP.
4. If you do NOT have an Fedex Account number, enter your order as normal and enter your 3 or 4 digit security code in the notes section with your shipping requirements. You are done. We will email you ASAP with the additional costs.
